ToVET aims to strengthen the role of the internationalisation strategy and link it more closely with the overall strategy of VET providers. VET providers could for example have more benefit from the staff mobility to develop the activities of the organisations. VET providers do not necessarily recognise the skills and competences of staff acquired during mobility. Working on the strategy level also enhances the collaboration partnership and increases mutual understanding.

The first step in the strategy work is to organise a workshop on the internationalisation of VET in Finland for all partners. The experts from Finnish National Agency for Education are invited as mentors. The management of the VET providers involved will participate in the workshop.

The purpose of the workshop is to define the challenges in implementation of international strategies and to find common solutions for fostering the mobility of VET learners and staff.
